Summary:Exciting opportunity to be on the cutting edge of a
growing rare disease company launching flagship product in two
indications (currently in Ph III) with blockbuster potential. Join
a newly formed Commercial team and be part of building an industry
leading Marketing organization.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pioneer the HCP brand strategy, market shaping and launch brand
campaign for two blockbuster launches (multi-billion-dollar
potential); initial launch in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH)
with expansion to PH-ILD.
- Build the HCP pre-launch and launch brand strategy to ensure
campaign and message effectiveness resonate in a market.
- Partner with market insights on developing and executing
comprehensive integrated insights plan to inform brand strategy and
forecast.
- Drive tactical execution including brand planning and creative
efforts, managing agency to ensure on budget and timely
deliverables and partnering closely with communications review
committee.
- Advance a strategic approach to HCP media planning and
management, including driving regular test and learn pilots on HCP
targeting (e.g., geo and IP targeting) and placement (e.g., social,
educational sites, etc).
- Co-lead HCP engagement and omnichannel cross-functional plan to
map all HCP touchpoints, operational needs, and strategic
optimization.
- Measure the impact of our initiatives based on ROI and agilely
pivot our investments to maximize impact, constantly look for
opportunities for automation and efficiency.
- Shape and implement our key thought leader strategy and seek
deeper understanding of the market landscape to shape the future of
the PAH market.
- Develop strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to
support business goals and engage above role including close
partnership with the field, patient, market shaping and program
counterparts, serving as a peer leader on the marketing leadership
and launch readiness teams.
- Role model and instill a solution focused, collaborative
culture focused on ethics, respect and integrity in all we do.JOB
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 12+ years of educational/work experience in
healthcare/biopharmaceuticals in marketing, consulting or agency
in, or an equivalent combination of experience and education; US
experience required; Global brand experience a plus.
- 3+ years of supervisory/management experience, or the
equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Rare disease launch experience strongly preferred in both small
or mid-size organizations; Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension
experience a plus.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and initiative to develop innovative and
focused approaches to enable launch through data and technology,
regular measurement of results and pivoting based on insights and
data.
- Experience developing communications/tactics in U.S. (and
global) marketing and managing agency efforts.
- Experience driving HCP brand campaigns, digital and tactical
planning and execution, and launch insight generation.
- Experience leading teams, coaching individuals and creating
excellent team culture.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the
ability to connect with senior leaders as well as more varied large
audiences.
- Comfortable working in a highly collaborative and
results-driven environment within a growing business where we are
concurrently learning & building as we drive towards product
launch.
- Demonstrated understanding of the legal, regulatory, and
compliance requirements for pre- and post-approval activities and
ability to model expected behavior for the team.
- Travel Requirements: Ability to travel 20-30% primarily
domestic travel with some international travel.Gossamer Bio is

position is $200,000 to $250,000. Actual pay will be determined
based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors
