This position will be in our Avionics Integration Organization.Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Leading and developing a team of hardware and infrastructure engineers through technology development, execution, integration, and deployment.
  • Leading technical discussions in datacenter and IT system infrastructure development while working with software development and other stakeholders.
  • Management of Infrastructure Jira project, executing scrums, sprint plans, and priority deconfliction.
  • Technical breadth across technology stack in the datacenter/IT system.
  • Staffing management and content delivery plan between multiple business areas.
  • Planning out release content across multiple IFCs based on program milestones with technical content.
  • Working with Product Owner to groom backlog, prioritize content, and execute work based on milestones and technical needs.The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility. This role requires the ability to travel up to 10% of the time.Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline with 3 years of related engineering experience.
    • Experience with systems engineering practices.
    • Experience with Microsoft Visio and other Office products to express engineering documentation.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP/PAR).Preferred Qualifications:
      • Current Special Program Access.
      • Experience as lead, functional, and/or Cost Account Manager.
      • Knowledge of Cisco UCS Compute, NetApp ONTAP/StorageGrid, Cisco Nexus Networks, VMware virtualization (vSphere, NSX-T, Horizon, vRealize, and vCloud Foundation).
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.Salary Range: $133,000 - $199,600The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
