Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking to add a Senior Principal
Electronics Engineer - Hardware Lead to join our team in Rancho
Bernando, CA. This position will be in our Avionics Integration
Organization.Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not
limited to:
- Leading and developing a team of hardware and infrastructure
engineers through technology development, execution, integration,
and deployment.
- Leading technical discussions in datacenter and IT system
infrastructure development while working with software development
and other stakeholders.
- Management of Infrastructure Jira project, executing scrums,
sprint plans, and priority deconfliction.
- Technical breadth across technology stack in the datacenter/IT
system.
- Staffing management and content delivery plan between multiple
business areas.
- Planning out release content across multiple IFCs based on
program milestones with technical content.
- Working with Product Owner to groom backlog, prioritize
content, and execute work based on milestones and technical
needs.The selected candidate will be required to work full-time,
on-site at our facility. This role requires the ability to travel
up to 10% of the time.Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering,
or Mathematics) discipline and 8 years of related engineering
experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years
of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline
with 3 years of related engineering experience.
- Experience with systems engineering practices.
- Experience with Microsoft Visio and other Office products to
express engineering documentation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access
(SAP/PAR).Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Special Program Access.
- Experience as lead, functional, and/or Cost Account
Manager.
- Knowledge of Cisco UCS Compute, NetApp ONTAP/StorageGrid, Cisco
Nexus Networks, VMware virtualization (vSphere, NSX-T, Horizon,
vRealize, and vCloud Foundation).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to interface with all levels of employees and
management.Salary Range: $133,000 - $199,600The above salary range
represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers
a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the
scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's
experience, education, skills, and current market
