Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Data Security Engineer to
design and implement robust security measures for data protection
across multiple cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the subject matter expert on data protection, encryption,
and governance
Conduct security reviews of new platforms and enhance data security
tools
Implement and enforce data governance policies and collaborate with
data teams on security compliance
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or
related field preferred
5+ years of expertise in cybersecurity
Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms like AWS Athena
and Snowflake
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL
Advanced understanding of data encryption and access control
mechanisms
