- Annual Salary Range: $72,000.00 - $75,000.00/year USDJob
DescriptionReporting to the Director of Group Sales,
responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not
limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging
service
- Ensure prompt and courteous service is extended to both
internal and external customers
- Maintain positive relationships with all guests, vendors,
Colleagues and global sales network
- Actively sell guest rooms to small groups, ensuring monthly and
quarter goals are met
- Conduct introductory site visits and planning site visits in a
professional manner
- Solicit new business, engage new clients, and rebook existing
clients
- Confirm and review rooms and function details with clients
prior to arrival
- Manage on-site program operations based on provided
schedule
- Meet clients prior to departure to ensure all details of the
contract were delivered and to solicit any future business
- Maintain accounts, contact, activity and business details
within the appropriate software applications
- Conduct pre-convention meetings as required
- Work closely with the Conference Services, Culinary, Front
Office, Audio Visual, Golf and Spa teams to communicate group
details
- Obtain and manage rooming list details and communicate to
Reservations Department
- Manage billing, deposits and payments as required
- Maximize revenue potential with each program
- Work within tight response deadlines
- Follow departmental policies and procedures
- Follow all safety policies
- Familiarity with virtual sales tools for customer
engagement
- Other duties as assignedQualifications
- Previous experience within hotel sales required
- Knowledge of Hotel Food & Beverage
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and other
relevant computer applications required
- University/College degree in a related discipline
preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
required
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and
