Job Description:
A company is looking for a Government Relations Director
responsible for executing its Government Relations program and
influencing public policy outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the government relations strategy in
collaboration with key stakeholders
Identify, analyze, and communicate public policy and regulatory
threats and opportunities
Cultivate relationships with Congressional offices, government
agencies, and trade associations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business or related field
6+ years of experience in government relations or related financial
services roles
Deep knowledge of federal legislative and rulemaking processes
Understanding of consumer financial services industry laws and
regulations
Strong leadership and relationship-building capabilities
